Endless Plains of Africa
The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's most famous wildlife sanctuary, spanning 14,763 square kilometers of endless savanna plains. Established in 1951, it's home to the Great Migration - one of nature's most spectacular events where over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras traverse the ecosystem annually.
The park offers exceptional year-round game viewing with all members of the Big Five present. From the vast central plains to the acacia-dotted woodlands and the crocodile-infested Grumeti River, every corner promises extraordinary wildlife encounters.
Serengeti National Park offers remarkable wildlife viewing year-round, but each season brings its own unique spectacle. The dry season concentrates animals around water sources, while the wet season brings lush landscapes and newborn animals.
